NanoBRI@INFORMM focuses on the design and manufacturing of multifunctional inorganic nanostructures for various molecular medicine, electronic devices, and other biotechnology applications. The focus areas are design and development of nanoparticles, nanocolloids, reagent design, drugs and molecules carrier design and development, cellular imaging and diagnostics. Moreover, NanoBRI@INFORMM also has developed nanostructured materials for sensors and electronic devices. NanoBRI@INFORMM has been appointed as BioNexus Partner (BNP) laboratory by Malaysian Biotechnology Corporation since 2010 to provide services for BioNexus status companies. NanoBRI@INFORMM provides services and consultation for bioconjugation optimization, laboratory scale validity, scaling up synthesis and bioconjugation processes and materials characterization.
